Organizations group accounts for centralized billing, policies, and access management. An account can be independent or associated with an organization. Account resources still belong to the account, while the organization provides a higher-level management boundary around one or more accounts.

Accounts

An account owns IDYL resources. Builders deploy workloads in an account, operators manage subnets in an account, and providers manage fleets in an account. Use account commands when you need to list accessible accounts, inspect the current account, or update account details.

Members

Members are users who have access to an account. Membership lets an identity participate in an account. Permissions are determined by access assignments, not by membership alone.

Organizational units

Organizational units group accounts inside an organization. Use organizational units when an organization needs a hierarchy for account administration. An organizational unit can contain accounts and other organizational units.

Invitations

Invitations let organization administrators invite users to join an organization. Users can accept or decline invitations from their account.
